Warga Solo menyambut dengan sangat antusias kegiatan bagi-bagi ayam goreng dan telur rebus yang dilakukan oleh Pinsar Indonesia, Minggu (17/2) di kawasan jalan Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta. Penyelenggaraan acara Pinsar Peduli Gizi ini digelar atas kerjsama dengan Asosiasi Obat Hewan Indonesia (ASOHI) Jawa Tengah dan didukung penuh oleh FORMAT (Forum Media Peternakan).
Acara Pinsar Indonesia ini mengambil tema “Sebutir Telur Sehari dan Sepotong Ayam, Anda Pasti Sehat dan Cerdas”, selain menggelar kegiatan di Solo, Pinsar juga membagikan sebanyak 2.000 paket berupa karkas daging ayam dan telur (isi 10 butir) di dua kecamatan di Kabupaten Sukoharjo.
Acara tersebut dihadiri langsung oleh Ketua Umum Pinsar Indonesia (Singgih Januratmoko), Ketua Pinsar Indonesia Wilayah Solo (Agus Sulistyo), Koordinator Pinsar Indonesia Wilayah Jawa Tengah (Pardjuni), dan Rektor Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara (Ali Mursyid).
Singgih Januratmoko dalam sambutannya mengatakan “Kegiatan kampanye ayam dan telur menjadi kegiatan rutin Pinsar Indonesia setiap tahun. Kegiatan kali ini kami adakan di Surakarta dan akan bergulir ke daerah-daerah lainnya”.
Ia mengungkapkan, sebanyak 2.000 butir telur rebus dan 2.000 potong paha ayam goreng telah disiapkan dan dibagi-bagikan ke masyarakat sekitar yang hadir di kegiatan car free day. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan sambutan hangat, terutama dari kalangan akademisi Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara. Harapan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar organisasi dan akademisi berjalan harmonis guna membangun anak bangsa yang sehat dan cerdas.
“Mahasiswa berperan untuk menjadi harapan kita bersama dalam membantu meningkatkan jumlah konsumsi protein hewani, dan salah menjadi satu protein hewani yang sangat terjangkau saat ini adalah ayam dan telur,” tandasnya. Oleh karenanya, mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar di dalam kelas, namun juga didorong berperan aktif terjun langsung ke dunia peternakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat.
Lebih lanjut Pardjuni menjelaskan, konsumsi protein hewani masyarakat Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Daging ayam 12 kg per kapita per tahun, sedangkan telur 6 kg per kapita per tahun. “Sehingga perlu dilakukan promosi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan konsumsi tersebut. Salah satunya dengan acara seperti ini,” ucapnya.
Selain berbagi ayam dan telur, juga dilakukan senam bersama, parade becak dan talk show bersama Duta Ayam dan Telur (Offie Dwi Natalia dan Andi Ricki Rosali).
Menurut Andi, masalah yang paling mendasar dari generasi milenial adalah belum adanya kesadaran untuk terjun langsung ke dunia peternakan khususnya perunggasan. Terlebih dengan masih rendahnya konsumsi protein hewani, peranan generasi muda sangat dibutuhkan. “Hadirnya kami Duta Ayam, mengajak masyarakat luas untuk lebih peduli dan terlibat akan pentingnya mengonsumsi ayam dan telur,” katanya.
