Musibah banjir yang terjadi pada awal tahun 2020 nyatanya tidak hanya terfokus pada ibukota saja. Beberapa kota penyangga seperti Bekasi, Bogor, Tangerang dan Tangerang Selatan pun ikut merasakan pahitnya musibah banjir yang tiba-tiba tersebut. Atas dasar keprihatinan tersebut, PINSAR berkolaborasi bersama ASOHI dan ISPI menggelar acara Bakti Sosial kepada para korban bencana banjir di RT 08/02 Kelurahan Pondok Bahar, Kecamatan Karang Tengah, Kota Tangerang pada hari Minggu, 11 Januari 2020.
Salah seorang koordinator acara bakti sosial Drh Rakhmat Nuryanto mengatakan bahwa ini adalah salah satu bentuk kepedulian PINSAR, ISPI dan ASOHI terhadap korban bencana banjir. Dalam kegiatan ini, panitia mengadakan acara senam pagi bersama yang dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengobatan gratis oleh dokter.
“Kenapa kami adakan senam pagi?, karena bencana banjir ini kan juga bikin orang jadi sakit secara psikologis, bukan cuma raga saja yang harus sehat dong, tetapi jiwa juga. Jadi selain refreshing maka kita adakan kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengobatan gratis,” tutur Rakhmat.
Antusiasme warga terlihat dari antrean yang memenuhi tempat dimana acara berlangsung. Tercatat ada lebih dari 50 orang warga yang berbondong – bondong datang ke lokasi acara tersebut, kerumunan di dominasi oleh kaum Ibu dan Lansia. Sebanyak empat orang dokter diturunkan oleh tim relawan untuk memeriksa dan mengobati warga. Selain pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengobatan, warga juga dapat mengecek kadar gula darah (diabetes) dan asam urat di lokasi.
Di tempat yang sama, Ketua RT setempat Murdalih menyatakan rasa terima kasihnya kepada para relawan yang telah melakukan kegiatan bakti sosial di daerahnya.
“Saya sangat senang banyak pihak yang datang membantu kami, semoga amal baik saudara – saudara relawan sekalian dibalas oleh Allah SWT,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut Murdalih menuturkan bahwa banjir merendam kawasannya sejak tanggal 1 Januari 2020. Ketinggian air mencapai batas dada orang dewasa (lebih dari 1 meter). Sebanyak 200 Kepala Keluarga di RT08/02 terkena dampak banjir, namun begitu tidak ada korban jiwa dalam bencana tersebut.
“Untungnya air sudah surut sejak tanggal 2 Januari, kalau enggak kasihan juga warga di sini. Nah banjirnya udah surut, sekarang kan banyak yang sakit, sementara fasilitas kesehatan punya pemerintah kan juga rame dan antreannya panjang. Kalau ada bantuan kaya gini kan seenggaknya sangat meringankan kita, para korban,” tukas Murdalih.
