Bertempat di aula Institute Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN), Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan, Minggu 15 Oktober 2017, Panitia Hari Ayam dan Telur Nasional (HATN) dan World Egg Day (WED) 2017 mengumumkan pemenang kompetisi Blog yang mengangkat tema “Mau Sehat dan Cerdas? Yuk Makan Ayam dan Telur”.
Ketua Panitia Pusat HATN 2017 Ricky Bangsaratoe mengatakan, ini adalah pertama kalinya HATN mengadakan kompetisi Blog. Minat para blogger untuk ikut kompetisi ini luar biasa. Peserta mencapai 123 orang dengan jumlah artikel sebanyak 139 artikel.
Ia mengatakan, kompetisi ini dimaksudkan agar para netizen dapat menerima informasi yang seimbang mengenai manfaat ayam dan telur. Para blogger menggali informasi mengenai manfaat ayam dan telur, mitos dan info hoax mengenai ayam dan telur dan menjelaskan informasi yang sebenarnya. Dengan demikian para blogger peserta kompetisi ini ikut berpartisipasi dalam menyebarluaskan informasi positif mengenai ayam dan telur.

Bambang menjelaskan, kriteria penilaian antara lain meliputi, kualitas artikel, kesesuaian isi artikel dengan tema, data dan informasi yang akurat dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, serta tampilan blog yang mudah dibaca.
