Rapat Konsolidasi Hari Ayam Dan Telur Nasional (HATN) 2019 Di Pekanbaru
Provinsi Riau mendapat kepercayaan sebagai tuan rumah Peringatan Hari Ayam dan Telur Nasional (HATN) ke-9 dan Hari Telur Sedunia (World Egg Day) yang jatuh pada Oktober 2019 . Beragam acara akan digelar dalam peringatan ini . Tujuan akhirnya adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya konsumsi ayam dan telur sebagai sumber protein yang murah dan berkualitas. Rapat konsolidasi digelar dalam rangka persiapan tersebut.
Ketua Panitia Pusat HATN Ricky Bangsaratoe bersama Wakil Ketua Bambang Suharno berkunjung ke Pekanbaru, Selasa (25/6) lalu dalam rangka persiapan kegiatan tersebut. Keduanya, bersama, Pimp[inan Riau Pos dan Riau TV Ahmad Dardiri sebagai pelaksana kegiatan, mengadakan rapat konsolidasi bersama sejumlah pihak terkait.
Rapat konsolidasi itu dilakukan di aula Kantor Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Provinsi Riau dipimpin oleh Plt Kepala Dinas Peternakan Riau Elly Suryani. Hadir pula dalam pertemuan itu wakil dari sejumlah pabrikan obat hewan dan pakan ternak (Charoen Pokpand Indonesia, Japfa Comfeed, Ciomas dan sebagainya) serta Ketua Asosiasi Obat Hewan Indonesia (ASOHI) Riau Drh. Musran, Ketua Ikatan Sarjana Peternakan Indonesia (IPSI) dan Ketua Perhimpunan Dokter Hewan Indonesia (PDHI) Provinsi Riau. Hadir pula para pejabat Badan Ketahanan Pangan (BKP), Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Riau serta pejabat eselon dan pejabat fungsional Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Provinsi Riau.
Dalam rapat itu, Elly menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas dipilihnya Riau sebagai lokasi hajatan berskala nasional. Terima kasih atas kepercayaannya, kata Elly. Sebagai tuan rumah, acara akan dipersiapkan sebaik mungkin bersama sejumlah pihak terkait.
Rangkaian HATN akan dimulai pada Agustus 2019. Puncaknya dilaksanakan pada pekan kedua Oktober 2019. Akan ada kegiatan berskala massal yang mendatangkan ribuan massa. Semakin banyak massa yang datang akan semakin baik. Artinya, akan banyak warga yang mendapatkan pencerahan terkait manfaat ayam dan telur.
Dalam pertemuan itu, Bambang yang juga Pemimpin Umum Majalah Infovet mengatakan, konsumsi telur di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Hanya sekitar 100 butir perkapita per tahun. Jauh lebih rendah dari konsumsi rokok. Bahkan lebih rendah dari pemakaian pulsa HP, kata Bambang.
Banyak hal yang membuat ayam dan telur belum menjadi sumber protein utama. Padahal harganya lebih murah dibanding sumber protein yang lainnya. “Masih banyak kampanye negatif mengenai ayam dan telur. Antara lain telur penyebab kolesterol, penyebab bisul, merusak mata dan sebagainya. Juga masih ada dokter yang mengatakan bahwa ayam broiler berbahaya karena disuntuk hormon. Ini tantangan kita bersama untuk meluruskan informasi melalui kegiatan HATN ini maupun kegiatan lanjutannya,” tambahnya.
Di akhir pertemuan, disepakati untuk dibentuk tim bersama untuk menyukseskan acara HATN ke-9 tersebut. Tim ini akan menyiapkan segala keperluan terkait kesuksesan HATN di Riau. Pasalnya, akan banyak kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan seperti seminar, lomba, jalan santai serta senam dan juga makan telursecara massal.
Sementara itu di Jakarta, rencananya akan dilakukan beberapa kegiatan bakti sosial dalam rangka HATN, sebagaimana tahun lalu.
