Bertempat di Graha Pena (kantor pusat Manado Post), Manado, Jumat sore, 19 oktober 2018, wakil ketua umum Pinsar Indonesia Eddy Wahyudin melantik Ketua Pinsar Indonesia Provinsi Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) Jan Tambajong (baca: Yan Tambayong) beserta jajaran pengurus yang terdiri dari peternak unggas, pakar perunggasan, awak media dan perwakilan pemerintah.
Pelantikan dilakukan sebelum dimulainya Seminar Biosecurity unggas yang merupakan rangkaian acara HATN dan Hari Telur Sedunia yang berpusat di Manado, dimana puncak acaranya berlangsung esok harinya, 20 Oktober 2018.
Prosesi pelantikan diawali dengan pembacaan Keputusan Ketua Umum Pinsar Indonesia tentang pengesahan pengurus Pinsar Sulut oleh Ketua Pinsar Indonesia Bidang Usaha dan promosi Ricky Bangsaratoe, dilanjutkan dengan pemberian jas Pinsar oleh Eddy Wahyudin ke Yan Tambayong, serta pemakaian jas dan pin Pinsar. Jajaran pengurus juga mengenakan pin Pinsar. Selanjutnya Eddy membacakan naskah pelantikan pengurus.
Dalam sambutannya Jan Tambajong mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepercayaan semua pihak untuk memimpin Pinsar Indonesia Provinsi Sulut yang baru berdiri. Ia mengharapkan dukungan semua pengurus agar program kerja pinsar dapat berjalan dengan baik. Secara khusus ia sangat mengapresiasi Panitia HATN Pusat, Kadis Pertanian dan Peternakan serta Manajemen Manado Post yang bekerjasama dengan sangat baik sehingga rangkaian HATN berjalan baik sekaligus merintis terbentuknya Pinsar Indonesia Provinsi Sulut.
Sementara itu Eddy Wahyudin mengaku sangat terkesan dengan stuktur organisasi Pinsar Sulut yang sangat lengkap, bukan hanya pelaku usaha ayam ras saja, tetapi juga usaha ayam buras, puyuh dan itik. “Total pengurus lebih dari 40 orang. Ini adalah jumlah pengurus pinsar daerah terbanyak ” ujar Eddy disambut tepuk tangan hadirin.
Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Peternakan Novly Wowiling, menyempatkan diri hadir di tengah acara , langsung dari bandara Samratulangi setelah menghadiri acara Hari Pangan sedunia di Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan.
Dalam sambutannya Novly menyampaikan selamat atas terbentuknya pengurus Pinsar Indonesia Provinsi Sulut. “Adanya kegiatan HATN di Manado, kita sering bertemu dan berdiskusi sehingga terbentuklah Pinsar Indonesia Provinsi Sulut. Untuk itu saya menyampaikan terimakasih kepada Manado Post khususnya Pak Tommy Waworundeng, Pak Edi Marzuki, dan ketua HATN pusat Pak Ricky Bangsaratoe dan tim yang telah memfasilitasi terbentuknya Pinsar Sulut,” ujar Novly.
Terhadap ketua Pinsar Sulut, Novly mengatakan pihaknya sudah mengenal baik ketua pinsar sulut terpilih Jan Tambajong sejak lama. ” Pak Yan sangat memahami dunia usaha perunggasan sehingga saya yakin di tangan beliau Pinsar Indonesia Sulut dapat berkarya dengan baik sebagai mitra pemerintah, ” pungkasnya.

Usai pelantikan pengurus , dilanjutkan dengan seminar biosekuriti unggas dengan narasumber Drh Erry Setyawan (FAO Indonesia) dan Drh.Kristi Puji Astuti (SHS Internasional). Erry menyampaikan materi tentang Biosekuriti Tiga Zona yang merupakan konsep penerapan biosekuriti yang kini paling populer dan mudah diterapkan di berbagai negara dan berbagai level usaha.
