Puncak acara HATN berlangsung Sabtu 20 Oktober 2018 di kawasan Boulevard Manado Town Square, sebuah kawasan pusat kota Manado yang biasa digunakan untuk berbagai acara skala Nasional dan daerah.Acara dimulai pukul 06.00 dengan acara senam bersama, jalan sehat, hiburan, pembagian doorprize. Kadis Pertanian dan Peternakan Novly Wowiling membuka acara , dilanjutkan dengan sambutan wakil ketua umum Pinsar Indonesia Eddy Wahyudin.
Acara jalan sehat diikuti oleh lebih dari 1.000 orang terdiri dari berbagai kelompok masyarakat dan aparat pemerintah, antara lain dari group senam, mahasiswa Fapet Unsrat, Dinas Pertanian, Kodam, kepolisian, siswa Sekolah Polisi Negara (SPN) Karombasan, siswa SMA/SMK kelolpok PKK, komunitas sehat, karyawan perholetan, PNS di lingkungan Pemda, karyawan Manado Town Square, para peternak dan pelaku usaha peternakan serta masyarakat umum. Tampak hadir pula Desianto Budi Utomo (vice president CPI) , Rey Tumondo, Falman Lakuju (CPI), Windharka (Japfa), Jan Tambayong (Ketua Pinsar Sulut) beserta para pengurus Pinsar Sulut.
Oleh pemandu acara, peserta diajak Senam Chicken Dance sebagai senam yang paling menarik para pengunjung karena sesuai dengan semangat acara HATN. Ada juga lomba mengupas dan makan telur tercepat, tari poco-poco, lomba chicken dance dan berbagai acara yang menghibur dan mengedukasi para hadirin.
Kadis Pertanian dan Peternakan Novly Wowiling dalam sambutannya menyampaikan rasa bangga atas suksesnya semua acara HATN. Acara ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan konsumsi ayam dan telur sebagai sumber protein berkualitas yang harganya terjangkau. Selain itu juga untuk membuka berbagai peluang usaha perunggasan di kawasan Sulawesi
Utara.
Sedangkan Eddy Wahyudin menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh peserta dan juga terima kasih kepada Gubernur/Pemda Sulut dan Dinas Pertanian dan Peternakan Sulut serta Manado Post yang telah menjadi tuan rumah HATN 2018. Eddy mengajak masyarakat agar menjadikan ayam dan telur sebagai makanan sehari hari yang menyehatkan.

Ketua Panitia Pusat HATN Ricky Bangsaratoe dan Ketua Panitia Daerah Tommy Waworundeng mengaku bangga dan bersyukur atas suksesnya seluruh rangkaian acara di Manado. Hal ini berkat kerjasama semua pihak baik swasta maupun pemerintah termasuk perguruan tinggi yang bahu membahu dalam menyelenggarakan seluruh rangkaian acara sejak September lalu.
Ricky mengharapkan acara ini tidak berhenti sampai di sini tapi diteruskan dengan kegiatan lainnya untuk memajukan perunggasan Sulut. Dengan sudah terbentuknya Pinsar Sulut, ia optimis perunggasan Sulut semakin maju. Ia juga berharap kerjasama dengan Manado dapat dilanjutkan dengan berbagai kegiatan lainnya.
Menanggapi hal ini, Tommy sebagai Ketua Panitia Daerah sekaligus wakil Direktur Manado Post menyatakan senang dan bangga bisa bekerjasama dengan Pinsar, ASOHI, Dinas Peternakan, Fapet Unsrat dan para peternak sehingga seluruh rangkaian acara HATN dapat berjalan lancar. Pihaknya terbuka untuk terus bekerjasama dalam kegiatan lainnya untuk kemajuan perunggasan Sulut.
