Dalam rangka persiapan rangkaian acara Hari Ayam dan Telur Nasional (HATN), Rabu 7 Maret 2018 panitia Hatn mengadakan audiensi dg Dirjen peternakan dan kesehatan hewan, Drh. Ketut Diarmita MP.
Delegasi panitia dipimpin oleh Ricky Bangsaratoe dari Pinsar Indonesia, didampingi oleh wakil ketua Bambang Suharno, berserta Rakhmat Nuriyanto dari ASOHI, serta Anang Sam dan Samhadi.
Dalam kesempatan ini panitia menyampaikan rencana HATN 2018 di Manado bulan Oktober mendatang. Rakhmat Nuriyanto yang merupakan penggagas HATN menjelaskan bahwa HATN pertama diresmikan oleh Menteri Pertanian Suswono 15 Oktober 2011 di Senayan , selanjutnya setiap tahun diadakan acara HATN. Mulai tahun 2013 HATN dilakukan di luar Jakarta antara lain Denpasar-Bali, Makasar, Palembang, Banjarmasin dan tahun 2017 di Lombok.
Dirjen menyambut baik kegiatan yang digagas PINSAR Indonesia dan ASOHI tersebut dan didukung oleh stakeholder dan asosiasi lainnya.
Ia berharap dengan adanya kasus gizi buruk di Papua, tim HATN bisa ikut berperan menggalang pelaku usaha perunggasan untuk menyumbang produk unggas ke daerah rawan gizi.***
