Memperkuat Usaha Peternakan Unggas PINSAR Segera Membentuk Koperasi
Untuk memperkuat usaha peternakan unggas, terutama peternak mandiri, dalam waktu dekat membentuk koperasi mulai dari primer, sekunder dan induk koperasi. Selain itu, melakukan inovasi produk peternakan dari peternak UKM.
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan oleh Ketua Umum Pinsar Indonesia, Singgih Januratmoko saat beraudiensi dengan Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, Teten Masduki di kantornya, kemarin sore (Jum’at, 22 November 2019). Selain dari Pinsar Indonesia pertemuan tersebut juga dihadiri tiga pimpinan dan anggota asosiasi peternakan unggas, yaitu Himpuli (Himpunan Peternak Unggas Lokal Indonesia) dan Gopan (Gabungan Asosiasi Peternak Ayam Nasional).
Menurut Singgih Januratmoko, selama ini peternak unggas yang mandiri sulit menghadapi persaingan dengan konglomerasi peternakan. “Maka membentuk koperasi mulai dari primer, sekunder dan induk saat ini sudah keharusan jika peternak mandiri maju menjalankan usahanya,” ujar Singgih yang juga anggota Komisi VI DPR RI.
Nantinya, lanjut Singgih, koperasi-koperasi tersebut akan memiliki usaha mulai dari pengadaan bahan baku pakan, pabrik pakan, perbibitan serta pemasaran produk hilir. Untuk saat ini sudah ada sembilan koperasi perunggasan di Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur. “Selain menambah jumlah koperasi primer, juga akan membangun koperasi sekunder serta induk koperasi,” dia menambahkan.
Di hadapan Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, tiga asosiasi peternak unggas mengharapkan dukungan pemerintah, terutama untuk menyempurnakan kelembagaan, pelatihan serta akses permodalan. Menteri Koperasi menyambut baik usulan peternak unggas serta akan memberikan dukungan yang diperlukan. Teten memberikan contoh kekuatan koperasi agribisnis di Belanda dan Selandia Baru. “Memperkuat koperasi peternakan, termasuk perunggasan memang harus dilakukan agar usaha mereka dapat lebih berkembang,” jelasnya.
Merespon permintaan peternak, Menteri Koperasi akan menindaklanjutinya dan minta Deputi Kelembagaan kementerian tersebut melakukan komunikasi intensif dengan sejumlah asosiasi.
